Zootopia is back With Volkswagen!

Versus partnered with Disney and Volkswagen to reimagine Zootopia’s iconic party scene as a global campaign, concepting the idea and building the world from the ground up. What began as a few seconds of film footage evolved into a blockbuster-scale universe of characters, cars, and culture, delivered through 200+ assets across multiple markets.

A Wild Ride of Creativity and Craft

Disney and Volkswagen asked us to bring Zootopia’s dance floor to life beyond the screen. The catch: no rigs, no toolkits, no shortcuts. Just a handful of advance clips, and the mandate to make it feel like a global entertainment moment.

We started with a bold idea: what if the party didn’t end in the film,

but exploded outward into a world where VW and Zootopia could truly share the stage? From that spark, we cut characters straight from early film scenes and built an entirely new CG environment around them. VW’s newest models became part of the spectacle, dancing in sync with the film’s stars. The result: a scalable campaign toolkit that turned constraints into creative fuel, and delivered a crossover no one thought possible.

Our team engineered a pipeline that merged raw film material with a photoreal cg automotive world,

layering in volumetric lighting, cinematic detail, and playful storytelling. Delivered early and at scale, the work captured the energy of a music video, the polish of a blockbuster, and the cultural punch of two worlds colliding.
